The Benham Galley Exhibition+Work in Progress

The exhibition from my month long artist-residency at Cuckoo Farm Studios. During the month I used plants and recycled materials from the farm to experiment with paper-making+printmaking. This work came together to form an installation, with a central floor+wall piece. In the last week of the residency I held workshops in what I had been exploring, in exchange for herbs. These were then planted as a herb garden outside the gallery.

Two days of free workshops in exchange for herb plants. Various times are available throughout the day, from 9am-9pm. Please email lizlake1@gmail.com or phone 07852575134 to book a place and a time. Workshops will take place at Benham Gallery, Cuckoo Farm Studios.

The focus of the workshops will be on plants, exploring how they can inform both the making process and the context of the work. We will be using simple techniques, combined with cheap, found and recycled materials.
